Fall Fun

October's been a fun month. Watched the last of the Monarch butterflies coming through on their southern journey and took note of a few remaining hummingbirds that were still visiting the feeder.

Been making homemade buttercream candy; vanilla and maple dipped in milk chocolate... Yum!

Last weekend we went on a fall color drive; visited several area towns, saw lots of gorgeous trees and ate some tasty food! Went to a car show where we saw some classic rides including a "Mayberry Tribute" car, complete with pic's of Andy and Barney! Had a buffalo burger, listened to some live music, and bought some jewelry, souvenirs, etc. The weather was great and the leaves were so colorful; really a nice weekend. :)

The Apple doesn't fall very fast from the tree

So I've spent the past three days backing up my iPod and getting iOS 6; Had 17,000+ photos, and a few hundred misc items to back up. Whew!
The backup process went fairly smooth, but ran into some very frustrating glitches with the update process. Took longer to do the update than to back up all the files.  Long story short, I got my iPod updated and I'm basically starting over with my iPod. The jury's still out on what I think of the new iOS. That's my blog post for today. ~Serenity 

Veggies from my garden :)

I'm late posting about it, but my blog's first birthday was in August. The first post I wrote was on October 12th :) Been watching The Voice, love the show, so funny. My mom's cooking chicken at the moment, yum :) It's getting colder and the leaves are changing color, fall is here ^_^

In the new LTWS (Lunch Time With Smosh) they said the new Monday schedule will alternate between "Ian is Bored" and "LTWS". The original schedule was "Ian is Bored" on Monday and "LTWS" on Thursday. I think they do a lot for their fans, IIB, LTWS, SU Cartoons, Smosh Games, and a video every Friday, but Idk, I'm just gonna miss the old schedule. I miss the way the they used to take suggestions. That's all I have to say about that, - Serenity

Lots going on :)

On Wednesday (Aug 15) we went to my aunt's again, and let me say, I had one of the best nights EVER! Let me explain.. It was probably about 9:00 p.m and my cousins brought out this game called Ratuki. The point of the game is to slam down cards to make a stack of 5 and shout "Ratuki!" High score wins, but the real fun part was listening to what everyone was saying; "Rat's are flying!" "There's rat residue everywhere!" "Superman!" and my favorite, "Someone bit me!" Now about that last one, what happened was my cousin was laughing so hard that her teeth hit her sister's arm. So basically it was an amazing night, and I am now obsessed with Ratuki. (We played for almost two hours). I hope we can visit again, maybe in a few weeks :) Oh, and a couple nights before that, we had conversations about people walking around in public in dinosaur costumes. Going back a bit, did I ever tell you about the tarantula-sized spider that was on the back of our couch? No? IT WAS SCARY. The thing was huge. Did I mention it was big? After a great time visiting with family, I started school just a couple of days ago, so that's cool :) Oh, my mom and I made some oatmeal cookies yesterday, so yummy :) The leaves on the trees are already starting to change color :) and I have family coming to visit around Labor Day. :) Good times, good times...

Family visit

Saturday and Sunday my mom, dad and I went to Missouri to visit some of my family; aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents :) We had a cookout Saturday, and afterwards my dad and cousins played music. We had fun watching my little two year old cousin Ellie play the harmonica :)
Later in the night, we went out and caught the Perseid meteor shower; we saw two or three amazing ones that lasted a few seconds and looked like fireworks! On Sunday we enjoyed carry-out lunch from a local church picnic; fried chicken, kettle beef, and lots of yummy sides and desserts! :)
My aunts' dogs, one a Chihuahua, the other a Lab, may differ in size, but are both so cute! :) We plan on going back tomorrow and possibly Saturday and Sunday :) Anyway it was great to see them all; haven't seen them in about a year, really fun to hang out with my cousins that are about my age too :)

Happy 4th of July!

I know I'm a day late, but I was really tired yesterday. So yesterday we had s cookout and watched fireworks. Some family came over too, so it was a pretty awesome day :)

Here's what happened yesterday; my pool got a rip in the seam so we had to go to the store to get a new one, and it's BIG, but I love it :) I also ate McDonald's and my mom, dad and I visited some friends, pretty awesome day :)
Oh, did ya know VidCon 2012 has been going on? *sigh* I really hope I can go to VidCon 2013, that would be amazing, meeting people from Twitter, meeting my favorite YouTubers etc. Well, that's my blog post for today ~ Serenity

Ice Cream....

Hello :) I've been on Twitter, Google+ and all that jazz. Wanna know what my favorite ice cream is? Moose Tracks. Omg it's so good, vanilla ice cream with chocolate chunks and little Reese's like candy. SO good. *drools* Anywho, I've been thinking of some ideas for my blog and all that. I swam yesterday, the water was a little chilly, but I got used to it after awhile. I wish I had more to write about, but I never think of anything... Oh well. New blog layout :) Been on G+ and Twitter, and have been playing Mario, we're in the 7th world ^.^ I love playing Mario, it's super fun :) I think photography, scrapbooking and cooking are possible hobbies for me; I love all three ^_^

Here's what's going on.... Had McDonald's yesterday, played Super Mario Bros and all that. Today; eating a leftover from McDonald's, on G+ waiting for Twitter to come back. It was down, then back up, then down again. Will probably play more Mario today too. All in all it has been an interesting two days lol :) ~ Serenity

Busy birthday

Whew, had a busy day Saturday; It was my dads' birthday and my brother and his family and my aunt and uncle came over. While I was shopping for Dad's birthday, I saw a swing I really liked. Long story short, Dad, Mom and I went back to the store to get it. (After convincing my Dad that he should buy me a present on his birthday lol). Later when we were back home, we all sat on it and agreed it was a really nice swing. Afterwards we all hung out around the pond and talked for awhile; then it was time to eat. We had burgers, chicken, potato salad, beans and of course, cake. We gave Dad his presents and he really liked them. My mom and I got him a patio set and a tool box; my aunt and uncle got him lottery tickets and chair cushions and my brother and his family gave him a phone case. All in all it was a great day :)

Sleep

I've been getting up super early. Today I woke up at like 5:30 a.m. and I thought I would mess up my sleep pattern because I fell asleep for awhile yesterday afternoon, but it didn't.

I have quite a few Twitter followers ^_^ trying to get 1000. My dad has the pool up; I swam in it once. My mom, dad and I are setting up a pond in our back yard, I'll post pictures when it's done :)

Today is a short blog post because I'm really tired. Been up since 5:00 a.m. Been playing a few games with my mom... Dominoes, Mancala etc. Made some brownies, + school; so today's been really cool. Tiring, but cool.

Googling and gardening

Been awhile since I've been on here; hello :) I fixed my Google Plus account so if you have one, follow me :) I'm gonna try to use it more now that it has a new design. I haven't been tweeting as much but you can still follow me if you love randomness :) I can't believe how many page views I have! Thank you! This is mostly a teen blog so if you're a teen you'll probably like this blog (I hope you do anyway haha). Nothing new has been going on really, I've been helping my mom in the garden. but I just wanted to say something. I've noticed a difference in Shane. I miss the 2009, 2010 and early 2011 Shane. Just as a side note, I'm still a fan, but he's changed. Not in a bad way, he's just changed. I still love him though. He's more successful, which is good, I just don't like that he's changing. Most people would be like, "He hasn't changed, what are you talking about?" but if you watch some of  his videos from 2009, 2010 and early 2011 to about, oh, October 2011; you will see a bit of difference; and if you watch his newest vlog from yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/shane I think there is a big difference. I still love Shane, I just wish he'd act like he used to. Love ya Shane <3

Tired Tuesday night

Woop woop...... I- I don't even know why I did that.. um lol. So hey guys, sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I wanted to say I have some blog posts already written so all I have to do is publish them. Also, in the past few days that I've been watching Shane and other YouTuber's videos/vlogs I've wanted to maybe make my own videos; so.. I'll be working on that. I have lots of things to think about, what the name will be, and some other creative stuff. But for right now I'll just be blogging every now-and-then. My Dawson dilemma

So apparently on March 10th on Twitter, some fans of Shane Dawson are gonna try to make a world trend "3milliondawsonwh*res" because it's Shane's channels' birthday; but here's my problem...... I'm not a "Dawsonwh*re", I'm a Dawsonfreak though. I don't really think it matters what the name is as long as you love Shane (Which I do). The whole "wh*re" part feels...... demeaning tbh. So if/when the trend is gonna happen I will be putting "3milliondawsonfreaks" but I still love Shane the same no matter what the name is :) <3

This always puts a smile on my face :)

Twitter break?

You may have noticed I haven't been on Twitter or Blogger that much in the past week or so. Eh, I wanted to take a little break from Twitter, and just haven't got around to blogging. I promise there will be more posts in the upcoming week :)
Now as for tweeting, I think I'll be taking a break. I'll still tweet and reply to tweets, I just need a little break.

Woo-hoo! It's Saturday! You know what that means; blogging, listening to music, eating, and watching TV. Oh wait, I do that already :P Ok, I seriously need to do something. I can, nah, maybe I could, no. Maybe I should stop blogging and do something? Yes, but it's so much fun so, no.

I just finished reading "From Willa, With Love" By Coleen Murtagh Paratore. Book six from "The Wedding Planners Daughter" series. I loved it; I've read all six. Sadly that's the last book in the series but hopefully she'll write more. 50th blog post! :)

Yippie! Today is my 50th blog post! So in celebration I thought I'd write a long post. What can I say.... Ahh, got it! A day in my life. Do you want to hear about it? No? Well, sorry.... Lol

A day in my life in Winter is really cool, (No pun intended) It gives me a chance to do things like this. (Btw it's Winter now where I live) I can curl up on the couch with my pets and watch TV, listen to music, etc.

Spring is really nice too; I'm looking forward to it. It's nice to be outside in the semi-warm air while there are no bugs (I don't like bugs) That Spring breeze; and after it rains, it smells so nice, it's very relaxing. I enjoy listening to the birds sing their little songs.

Now for the fun part, a day in my life in the Summer. I LOVE Summer! Swimming, going to the store with my dad to get hamburgers, BBQ sauce, chips, etc, riding my bike (I probably need a new one), going to the park, sitting outside enjoying the beautiful sights; and when my family comes over, that's always a joy. We're a very fun-loving family; ALWAYS joking; We can get a little crazy, but my family is amazing :)

Fall is awesome, I always go to our Fall Festival, color drive, etc. Last Fall I went to a circus, (No, not the one with our family "clowns") Went letterboxing, visited some historic sites, etc.

Well, I guess that's about it. I actually plan to do a lot more this year; can't wait.

So that's a day in my life. Boring? Weird? Stupid? Nah, I prefer a circus.

I FINALLY decided on a blog design; and I actually like it a lot. I wonder who reads my blog.... Probably my brother and his girlfriend; hi Brother J and K :)
